Last weekend I attended the IFSA Junior National Freeski comp at Snowbird, Utah. We got tons of snow and the comp was really, really fun. This was my first National IFSA comp and my first time competing in the 12-14 age division. The Silver Fox finals venue at Snowbird is definitely the biggest venue I’ve ever competed on and it was awesome. The line I found to ski was so fun and it included 3 big airs. The top air was the biggest I’ve ever sent in a comp but I was confident and it felt great. I qualified in 4th place and moved up one spot in the finals to finish on the podium in 3rd. I’m very proud of accomplishing this at my first National comp in the bottom of my age group. It seemed like everyone had a blast and I got to ski at Alta on Tuesday after the comp with my friend, Carson, and the conditions were all-time.
Thank you again for your support. I appreciate it very much and I’m very proud to represent the Flyin Ryan Hawks Foundation values.

Sincerely,
Brooks Hudson
