Banff Film Fest World Tour

The Banff Mountain Film Festival is an international film competition and an annual presentation of short films and documentaries about mountain culture, sports, and environment. It was launched in 1976 as The Banff Festival of Mountain Films by The Banff Centre and is held every fall in Banff, Alberta. After wrapping in Alberta the festival hits the road, stopping in Burlington, and is a produced by the UVM Outing Club and Skirack.

The 2018/2019 World Tour features an exhilarating and provocative collection of films that explore the mountain world, highlighting new landscapes and remote cultures, and exposes audiences to exciting adventures and adrenaline-packed sports. See a selection of award-winning films and crowd favorites from the hundreds of films entered into the annual festival.
