| Hi Friends and Supporters, 2025 has been an exciting and eventful year for the Flyin Ryan Foundation. We have awarded 27 adventure scholarships and expect to offer several more before year-end. That surpasses our previous record of 17 awards. As a reminder, our awards are designed to recognize and stimulate adventurers to align themselves with what they are passionate about, demonstrate their financial need, and, most importantly, share with us their core values. We don’t define adventure and we are not looking for Olympic athletes who are accustomed to receiving awards. We make awards to ordinary folks who are often overlooked. The big news this year relates to the development of the Core Values Challenge. It has been packaged into a quick and efficient means of distribution which is just a QR code away for anyone with a smart phone. Technology has enabled us to provide an opportunity for our community partners to meaningfully engage our core values mission with their guests, members, and community. Our inaugural posters are just going into production now and should be on display by December 1st. Examples of outreach include: Sports and Fitness edge: 12 call to action posters, 10,000 +/- membes Sugarbush: 4 call to action posters Mad River Glen: 4 call to action posters Jersey Mikes: Offer of free sub for anyone who completes and submits their Core Values (see poster below) Alpine Shop: Core Values Challenge card insert with every e-mail and retail order IFSA International Ski & Snowboard Freeride Association: We have a strong relationship which will be strengthened by the ease and simplicity by which members (about 6,000) can access the Core Values Challenge. Over the years we have made 134 awards to help IFSA athletes pursue their dreams. We are currently adding to the list of community partners who actively engage in helping us share our mission of: (1) sharing Ryan as an example of a life well lived and (2) stimulating students, athletes and adventurers to take responsibility for the choices they make by composing core values and using their self-composed core values as a north star to stay on track with being their best self and taking responsibility for the choices they make in life. The Flyin Ryan Crew is stable and in good shape. Christine Golden of Golden Consulting LLC handles operational affairs. She continues to do a superb job. David Punia orchestrates our IT affairs. He has been instrumental in packaging the Core Values Challenge. Buy Flyin Ryan gear: We receive part of the proceeds from the sale of our merchandise on the Ski The East site. Grab a beanie, baseball Sweatshirt or stickers. It’s also a great source for Christmas gifts. Corporate Sponsorship: Contact us about sponsoring an event, program or an Adventure Scholarship recipient. Giving Tuesday: Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media collaboration. It will be celebrated this year on Tuesday following Thanksgiving, December 3rd. Giving Tuesday kicks off the charitable season when many focus on their holiday in your and giving. Our friends at Ski the East are running a special promotion to generate revenue on giving Tuesday this year. Check out their website.
