S. J. Grundon
Lincoln, VT
SJ is a superb and dedicated athlete. As a freshman at Mt Abe U. H. S. she was accepted into an independent study program (Pathways) which enabled her to have a flexible schedule to pursue her skiing and education objectives: her PowerPoint presentation last spring was exceptional. Among other things, as a Flyin Ryan Scholar she learned that her thirst for the podium was secondary to the privilege of providing leadership and council to her fellow athletes by helping them to reach and attain their goals. It doesn’t get much better than that.
