Annie’s Bio

My name is Annie Citrine and I am 21 years old. I grew up in Maine and came to Burlington for school. With covid I decided to take a break from school and have had some amazing opportunities working in the outdoor industry. This summer I am living out my dream job as a guide out west, taking middle school and high school girls out backpacking and sea kayaking. I love sharing my passion for the outdoors with others and empowering them to try new things. I plan to drive out to Montana where the company is based out of but traveling to guide in Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Olympic National Park. After the summer I plan to explore the west coast to gain more experience and knowledge to find opportunities to get people outside and empower them. This scholarship would help me follow these dreams and goals of mine.
