I grew up snowboarding at Waterville Valley in New Hampshire and over the years I have increased my love for snowboarding. This sport is not just a hobby or something that I engage in occasionally, it has truly become a lifestyle for me, When I touch my board to the snow its like I go into my own world. When I leave the lip of the jump, the feeling is indescribable. That’s what has always attracted me to the sport, the true bliss. I have centered my whole life around the sport, and every penny I earn, I dedicate towards the sport so that I can progress to greater and greater heights. Snowboarding has taken me to places I never thought I would see and I have met people from all over the world. This sport is my true passion and it means world to me. The Flyin’ Ryan Scholarship will allow me to reach my full potential by being able to be a member of Team Squaw, where I can push myself in the sport of Boardercross.
