Griffin’s Bio

There’s nothing I love more than a snowy day and spending time on the mountain with
my friends, family or teammates. My name is Griffin Larson, I’m 16 years old and I live in
Essex, Vermont. I have been skiing at Smugglers Notch since before I could talk! My parents
put me on a rope and slid me down the bunny hill. I’ve been hooked ever since! I joined the
Smugglers Notch freeski team when I was 8 and have spent virtually every winter weekend since
then either skiing with my team or on a ski trip with my family. One of my favorite parts of each
weekend is exploring the backcountry with my teammates and coaches. I love the work of
finding new lines and skiing through the trees.

During the past 3 summers I have worked as a mountain bike coach and really enjoy
spending time with kids teaching them how to be better bikers. I’m also an avid cyclist and love
racing all disciplines; mountain, gravel, road and cyclocross. I spend my summers on two
wheels looking forward to when the snow will fly again.
