Owen’s Bio
My name is Owen Lyster, I’m 14 and I live in Underhill Vermont. My favorite hobby and passion is skiing. I have been skiing my entire life and started my competition career when I was 8. My home mountain is Smugglers Notch and I am part of the Smuggs freeskiing team. I have learned most of my freeskiing skills from the team and have become part of the eastern competitions because of the team. I have been able and lucky enough to attend the Norams at kicking horse in 2019. I have learned valuable friendships and lessons through Smuggs and the freesking community. My goal for this year would be to qualify for Norams so I can be part of the team that travels to Big Sky. Although my main passion is skiing I also enjoy playing soccer and mountain biking.
