Hazen is the eight-year-old son of John Abbott, former director of the UVM Outing Club. For several years Hazen has had the Flyin Ryan core values poster on his bedroom wall.  Hazen decided one day that Ryan’s core values would serve him well and so he memorized them. His dad shared the story with Peter and he asked him to take it a step further by sharing a video recording of Hazen reciting Ryan’s core values as well as starting the process of identifying his own core values. Hazen is working on that now and we hope to have the privilege of sharing the self-composed core values of this very special eight-year-old young man.
