The 6th annual Flyin Ryan / Akes Golf Tournament was held in St. George, VT on September 22, a picture-perfect and warm Vermont early fall day. A full field of 32 foursomes ventured out onto the links at the Rocky Ridge Golf Club to enjoy the game, and demonstrate their skills. Josh Merkel and Ronnie Ryan teamed up with Alicia Hawks to put together a well-oiled event, enjoyed by over 140 participants.
Golfers generously contributed to the ball toss, 50-50 raffle, and the 6th hole refreshments, ably staffed by Taya and Katie from Akes’ Place, who have been steadfast in their support for the Flyin Ryan Hawks Foundation and what we do. We also appreciate the volunteers who contributed to our success. 
The food was bountiful, the pulled pork was delicious, the Long Trail beer was in high demand, and the silent auction was broadly supported.

Over $12,000 was raised to support the Flyin Ryan Hawks Foundation. All proceeds support our mission of extending the impact of the life of Ryan Hawks by stimulating students, adventurers, and athletes to align their lives with internally self-composed core values, and to use those core values as a compass for their decision-making and engagement in life. Let’s do it again next year!
