Ashley’s Bio
Ashley Maxfield is a former athlete on both the Freeskiing World Tour and Freeride World Tour. She grew up skiing in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, where she raced both Nordic and alpine until she was 13. While attending Burke Mountain Academy she focused on alpine and fell in love with the adrenaline and raced through college. A few years after college she found comp skiing while back on the east coast and she was hooked. After many years on both tours, Ashley had a life altering crash in 2015 that put her on the path she is now. She is working hard to become a guide as well as a better freeride coach and judge. For fun Ashley loves to be in the outdoors no matter what time of season. Whether it’s mountain biking, rock climbing, being on the water or camping, she loves to find whatever adventure awaits!
