Koiya’s Bio

Hi, my name is Koiya Adii and I am a 16 year old freestyle athlete from Jeffersonville Vermont! I’ve been skiing at Smugglers’ Notch for the last 14 years and joined the  Smugglers’ Notch Freeski team when I was 9 years old.   At the end of the day, it’s not about whether you placed where you wanted or if you qualified for a competition. To me it’s about the time you spent with your friends on the mountain. Whether it’s getting up early and taking party laps with your girls or participating in impromptu dance parties on the lift, that is what it is about.  This sport has helped develop me into the person I am today.  I am forever grateful to the eastern freeride community, it is something really special and I am glad to be a part of it.
