Max’s Bio

My name is Max Coleman, I’m 12 years old and in the 6th grade. I was born in Mammoth Lakes, California, and started skiing as soon as I could walk. I’ve loved it ever since. I now live in McCall, Idaho, where I’m lucky to call Brundage Mountain, Tamarack Resort, and Little Ski Hill my home mountains. Each one is different, and skiing at all of them has helped me become the skier I am today. Two years ago, I discovered freeride skiing and got hooked. I now train with Valley Freeride and compete in the U15 division of the IFSA Intermountain West region. I’m passionate about skiing and love challenging myself to keep progressing. My dream is to ski on the Freeride World Tour. When I’m not skiing, you can find me riding local mountain bike trails, fishing, or whitewater rafting with my family.
