Sadie’s Bio
I am Sadie Zakreski and I am a 16 year old 10th grader from Boulder, Colorado. I enjoy everything about the outdoors, especially rock climbing, skiing, mountain biking and camping. I am a competitive big mountain freeskier and enjoy traveling around competing. Last season, I qualified for the Junior Freeski Championships. This season, I competed in Chile in August before an early season accident, where I fractured my L1 vertebrae, keeping me off the snow for a few weeks. I was able to come back and still earned several podium places, narrowly missing the JFC’s again. This upcoming summer, I look forward to being a summer camp counselor at my local rock climbing gym, biking, hiking and camping. I also hope to travel back to Chile to ski and compete again.
