Tomas Terzano

Tomas’ Bio

I’m an 18-year-old freeride skier from Villa La Angostura, Argentina, a small Patagonian town surrounded by mountains and lakes that sparked my lifelong love for skiing. By the age of 2, I was already on skis, alternating seasons between Cerro Bayo and Deer Valley, Utah, where my parents worked in the ski industry. I began my journey in alpine skiing but later transitioned to freeride, drawn to its creativity and freedom.

In 2024, I became the U-19 South American Champion and the first Argentinian junior to compete in the Americas Finals. Now, I’m preparing for my biggest challenge yet: the 2025 Freeride Junior World Championships in Austria, where I will proudly represent South America as the first Latin American athlete in the competition’s history.

Balancing life as a freeride skier with my studies in medicine at university, I strive to inspire others through perseverance, hard work, and passion.
