Winters Wind is a throw back to ski films of old that tell stories that any adventure enthusiast can relate too. It is thoughtful and artistic and a full story that makes you think of who you are and your place on earth, quite the opposite of the current commercial winter films.
It was shot and co-produced in Vermont. Production features Stowe, Sugarbush, Bolton, and Burlington as pivotal characters in the film. The actors are also real legends from Vermont, featuring Ralph Deslauriers, a real legend in Skiing and the business pioneer that brought us Bolton Valley!
The film has been well received in festivals and will host its theatrical debut in Vermont on Wednesday, November 28th at Merrill’s Roxy Cinema at 7pm and 8:30pm.
It is a great story to show why we all fall in love with this crazy thing called skiing
