Since completing my 32 day solo thru paddle of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail, I have switched my main occupation from butchering, to plumbing. I am still sugaring in Lincoln and will be paddling the last 140 miles of the canoe trail again, with a friend, this May. My core values have kept me wanting more, accepting challenge in many forms and staying grateful for my friends and family. Being okay with fear, discomfort and bathing in the beauty of rest keep me motivated and hungry for more. My dog, Cedar, is the best adventure partner I could ask for and has been a huge addition to my life. The support I received from the Flyin Ryan Hawks Foundation was a crucial part of a life changing experience for me, and one that I hope to share with others to encourage them to live life now.
