The Smugglers’ Notch Ski & Snowboard Club (SNSC) is looking to fill the position of a Full-Time Competition Freeski Coach for the 2021-2022 winter season.  This position is a Full-time seasonal position, starting in December through Mid-April (may require limited work in the off-season). The SNSC is a non-profit organization that focuses on young athlete development for snow-sport athletes that compete in Big Mountain Freeskiing, Snowboarding, and Alpine Racing.

SNSC is expanding their offering of Freeski programming to include a more robust midweek training program as well as more off-season training opportunities for these athletes specific to their discipline, and this will require a full-time head coach for the program.

Applicants should have Big Mountain Freeski coaching experience, IFSA Level 200 certification (plan on getting level 200 if not already acquired), able to lead a group of athletes and coaches confidently, work as a team with other coaches and directors, be physically fit in order to handle the demands of the job, and be willing to adapt and learn.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, a Smugglers’ Notch Resort Season Pass and discounted family passes are included for employees.  Coaches also have access to discounted gear as well as a discount on SNSC programming fees for children.
