Adventure Scholar Tami Razinger update:

My name is Tami Razinger. I am a freeride skier living in Stowe, VT. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. In college, I was a part of the UVM Freeskiing Team, where my passion for skiing grew tremendously. I was able to explore through Vermont terrain outside of groomed trails, and competed in the Ski the East Freeride Tour.

This winter, I plan on competing in all four stops of the Freeride World Tour Qualifier, 4th level (FWQ 4*) western events. I am also filming a web series that will incorporate all aspects of skiing/competing and what it is like to be a female freeride athlete from the east coast. My Flyin Ryan Adventure Scholarship helped me pay for expenses as I traveled for competition, and for my independent film project. I hope to reach a large audience with my videos, and inspire others to pursue their own dreams and adventures!

I had a great season last winter 2016-2017. I traveled to all of the FWQ 4*competitions out west and ended up in 1st in the last of the competitions in Crystal Mountain, Washington which was considered the finals. I ended up in 4th overall for the NorAm champs, 6th in the Americas FWQ women’s overall and 16th in the world FWQ women’s overall. I had a lot of fun traveling to all of the competitions and getting to know so many people in the industry.

This winter, I am moving to Jackson Hole to continue to pursue my competition goals, a move I have envisioned for over two years now. I am beyond excited for my new playground!
