It is with great sorrow that we just learned of the tragic passing of one of our Adventure Scholars, Kelsey Boleski, aged 34. 

Kelsey worked at the Outdoor Gear Exchange in 2013 when we made the award. Our award helped Kelsey pursue her love of skiing. She was most recently serving as the manager of Christy’s in Crested Butte.

I suspect that Ryan was right at Heaven’s gate with a big smile and a warm hug to meet Kelsey as she transitioned into the spiritual world.

A GoFundMe page has been set up in her memory to aid her family during this difficult time.
