Johnny Egan received his Adventure Scholarship way back in 2014. A Moretown, Vermont resident and student at Harwood High School at the time, Johnny competed with the Sugarbush Freestyle Team and was using his award to train with the Diamond Dogs and launch himself into a career in professional skiing. Six years later he has given us an update on his life since receiving his award.

“For the 2020 season I will be joining the Road IKONs Tour sponsored by IKON Pass. On this tour, I’ll be skiing with Thor Retzlaff, Taylor Zehren, and Alex Mezger and stopping at 20 destinations over the course of three months. We’ll be living in a 35′ bus for the duration of the trip. Currently, we’re getting setup at the Base of Squaw Valley with the tour starting officially on January 3rd. We’ll then head south through California and over to New Mexico to ski Taos. From there we’ll hit the Colorado destinations on our way to Outdoor Retailer. From OR we’ll finish up the Colorado destinations and then make our way to Salt Lake City, up through Montana, and into interior British Columbia to ski Revelstoke, Cypress Mountain, and the Big 3 in Banff (Norquay, Sunshine, Lake Louise). After Canada we’ll wrap up with a week at Crystal, and head back to where we started in Squaw Valley. During our time at each resort we’ll be gathering media content to be utilized by each resort, Ikon Pass, and our sponsors.”

We’re so excited for you Johnny, keeps living your dreams!
